I could say a million and one kind words about Amelia and Clay. They are two of the most humble, caring and Jesus lovin’ I have ever meet.
But I think Amelia’s initial to me about sums them up:
(have some tissues next to you)
“Clay and I have only been engaged for 6 weeks, but’s it been a blast so far and I’m LOVING this season we are in. Clay and I have been dating for 4.5 years. We are juniors in college at Harding University, a small Christian school in Arkansas. Clay and I have history all the way back to the third grade, where we first met in Sunday school. We grew up going to the same school in Jackson, TN. We had crushes on one another for years, but fell in love on a mission trip our sophomore year of high school. The rest is history. Our 4.5 years together have been full of joy, growth, and enormous amounts of love and admiration. They’ve been transforming, and that transformation hasn’t always been easy. We’ve been through things that most people don’t go through in a lifetime... though the hardest was losing his little brother in a boating accident this past summer. As we have moved through grief, understanding, and holding on to God’s truths, we’ve both decided to take full advantage of the time we have. So here we are... engaged at 21 and absolutely thrilled and anxious to be married. Clay is the most steadfast, kind-hearted man I know. He is home for me, he knows me fully and loves me fully. He makes me laugh like no one else. He is the best man, best friend, and greatest love I will ever cross paths with and I am so so so honored to get to be claimed as his wife.”
That about says it all. Two souls so sweetly in love.
