Brace yourself for this fun + unique wedding!

I hadn’t met Kristen and Dave until the wedding day since they live in Chicago but I immediately felt welcomed by their kind, caring and hilarious souls!

They got married at the stunning East Ivy Mansion. From the outside it looks unassuming - just a large, tan house with some tall walls around it. Upon entering you are greeted by the most epic garden with a creek (which they fill with floating candles at night), epic brick arbors, the coolest pool EVER and a mansion complete with beautiful, sparkling chandeliers, marble flooring, a walnut library, winding staircase and seven bedrooms. The owner even told me Bob Dylan use to own it. May or may not be a little obsessed.

The venue fit Kristen and Dave perfectly, so elegant but fun. Dave even had metal, reusable boutonnieres (scroll down to see the awesomeness) and Kristen rocked a pair of blue, sparkly heels.

I could write about them and their wedding for hours. They had the best dance moves I’ve EVER seen, Dave’s brother gave the most hilarious toast in all wedding history, they wrote the most tender and kind vows, their best friends married them, and their two ring bearers decided to start running laps down the aisle…. but I’ll let the pictures do the talking from here.
