Branding Session Outfit Guide
Here are a few of my biggest tips and tricks for getting branding photos you love:
For the ladies:
Plain colors and simple patterns photograph best!
Color wise I reccomend neutrals (brown / black / white / cream), emerald tones or blues / greens.
An easy way to introduce versatility into your outfits is by adding a blazer over your blouse / dress
When choosing formal vs. casual clothes think about how your clients will see you! If you are in a more casual profession - be sure to have at least one outfit that reflects that! (i.e jeans + blouse / sweater)
If you are doing your own make up, wear it heavier than you would on a normal day! If you are able to, having your hair and makeup professionally done can make all the difference!
Make sure to iron out any wrinkles
Make sure your bra strap / bra line don’t show in the direct sun!
Things to bring: Lipgloss / lipstick, powder, hairbrush, hairspray, etc…
For the men:
Make sure your shirt is ironed and your undershirt is not showing
Plain colors and simple patterns photograph best! Stay away from gingham.
Color wise I reccomend neutrals (brown / black / white / cream), emerald tones or blues / greens.
Wear clothes that fit well - clothes that are too big / small with show in photographs
